Recently years, modern science and technology is developing rapidly, interdisciplinary technology demonstrates its strong technological advantages and application prospects. The cross-study integration of optics and electronics result in the generation of a new discipline—opto-electronics. The combine of electronic technology and computer technology forms embedded technology. The infrared communication systems are a product of general application of the embedded technology and photonics technology.This paper can be divided into five parts. In chapter one, the development and application of infrared communication technology and embedded technology are introduced, and the current research situation at home and abroad, the advantages of infrared communication systems are also analyzed, and the propose to improve the infrared communication system , the work we m. In chapter two the modulation and demodulation of photoelectric signal, the description of a system light selection and signal detection, and how to choose the components are presented.
